Moringa and Hemp Pesto
A delicious, fresh, herby and nutty pesto. Perfect accompaniment to pasta, vegetables, salads or anything you like. Added extra complete proteins from the hemp and moringa give this dish that extra health kick .

Ingredients
2 cups fresh basil
2 tbsp cashew nuts
3 tbsp pinenuts
2 medium garlic cloves
3 tbsp nutritional yeast
2 tbsp shelled hemp seeds
1 tbsp moringa powder
1 tbsp lemon juice
125 ml virgin olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Method
In a food processor add basil, pine nuts, garlic, nutritional yeast, hemp seeds, moringa and lemon juice.
Blend all ingredients together whilst adding a little olive oil at a time
If needed add additional water
Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week
